Renewing The Mind Poster

Inspired by the stories of Noah and the dove bringing an olive branch as a sign of a new beginning, and Romans 12:2 that we are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

"Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that by testing you may be able to discern the will of god, what is good, acceptable and perfect.” 

In the story of Noah’s Ark and the Great flood, Noah sends a dove to find signs of  receding waters and returns with an olive branch. A symbol of a new beginning. When we come to christ and receive the Holy spirit, we are born again into christ. we become a new creation. the old has passed and the new has come. and in the process of becoming more like Christ, we must guard out hearts and let our minds be renewed by the word of god and spirit that is in us. only then will we be able to discern between the lies of the enemy, the half-truths of the world, and the full truth of god and what he desires us to know, be, and do.
